This week I participated in these carnivals.
- March 30th Carnival of Personal Finance
- 30th Carnival of Bankruptcy and Debt
- April 1st Money Hacks Carnival
- 1st Carnival of Pecuniary Delights
- 8th Carnival of Everything Money
- 133rd Festival of Stocks
- 15th Carnival of Net Worth
- March 23rd Carnival of Twenty-somethings
- Festival of Frugality March 31st
- March 30th Consumer Focused Real Estate
- 13th Carnival of Millionaire Mind
These are a few posts I found interesting.
- Save a few bucks calculates if buying a hybrid car is worth it. Funny, I did almost the same thing but he compared a Corolla. Even at $5/gallon it takes 5 years to break even between the Prius and Corolla.
- Dividend Values asks “Will housing lead us out of the recession?” While I agree that the housing market saw some good news, I don’t think we’ve hit bottom. Nor do I think we’ve seen the worst, until people have finished losing their jobs. I think more jobs cuts are coming in 2009.
- Bankling author Q asks “What’s a man gotta do to get fired?” Hey I fully agree. I always thought bonuses were for a job well done, not a salary for a crap job. I too rant about it here.
- Domestic Cents talks about “her daughter won’t remember we were broke.” I can personally guarantee she won’t even realize it!
- Ginger from Girls Just Wanna Have Funds writes about “Going from Jobless to Topless“. Oh lord.
Have a good weekend.
