How much money would have to be on the ground for you to pick it up? Are you very thrifty and pick up every penny? Or are you okay with passing coins by? Is there a minimum amount of money it would have to be for you to bend down and pick it up?
Personally I love picking up money even a penny. I don’t think it’s a thriftiness thing, I just think it’s good fortune. But then I pick up paper, garbage, etc. I’ve even picked up a $20 bill thinking it was trash!
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

I pick up everything. Money is money. I once picked up a $5 bill because I thought it was trash too
A $20.. that’d be such an exciting find!

I pick up every coin and drop them into donation boxes. My kids have gotten into the act too. They actively search the ground as we head into the grocery store so that they can “give money to the kids who don’t have any.” If we find money in the street after leaving the store, they make me run back in so they can donate it!
We are blessed enough that a buck or two doesn’t make a difference in the quality of our lives, but I’m really trying to teach my kids that it can be a huge difference for some people.

It depends where the money is, and in what condition it appears. I won’t pick up a black penny off of a subway platform, for instance, but I’ll pick up a shiny penny almost anywhere – if it’s on heads!
In general I’ll pick up all other change, unless it looks filthy (it’s under a half inch of dust) or takes extra effort to get to (under a vending machine)

It depends on where I am. If there are people around, then no, I won’t pick up change. I’d pick up a bill, though.
