Last day of the year and I guess we’re writing goals. Most people write new year’s resolutions, so why not join in? It can be a simple list of a couple of goals, or detailed outlined strategy. I’m going to mix it up this year.
Unfortunately we failed on our goals from last year. We took our $4250 in student loans this fall, and anoher $4250 this spring.
- DH keep job, LAL find job – explanatory right?
- Maximize retirement accounts
- Have baby
- Start paying off DH’s loans, he could finish in 2009 so we should be prepared.
I guess that’s it for us. Nothing huge or exciting. What are your goals for the year?

OMG!!! Have a baby! Congratulations!!!! That’s the most fantastic goal I’ve seen anywhere.

Snuck in the middle because it’s wishful thinking. Threw out the BC and decided not to mention in in real life, because well you never know when it will happen.

aA”real job”? You don’t consider yourself to have a real job? I thought that you had a graduate degree, or you were at least in grad school I thought. I can’t remember….. duh.
