So it’s the end of the week and I’m ready to wrap up my carnivals and roundup of blogs I read. To start here are the Carnivals I participated in. But I have to tell you about this awesome new blog I adore! It’s a political blog and it’s for liberals. BUT seriously if you wanted to laugh about someone’s grandma talking politics you have to read it! MargaretandHelen! Check it out.
- 146th Festival of Frugality, Top Pick – “Growing up Frugal“
- 34th Money Hacks Carnival, Editor’s Choice – “Debt Destiny“
- 20th Finance Fiesta, Editor’s Choice – “Living Without a Credit Score“
- 174th Carnival of Personal Finance
- 161th Carnival of Debt Reduction
- 10-15-08 Kids and Money Festival
- 110th Festival of Stocks
- 2nd Book Review Carnival
PF Bloggers Roundup
- WideOpenWallet talks about “small steps will take you great distances.” Not personal finance but I’m going to do it too!
- NoDebtPlan tells us why the “11% gain isn’t what you think it is“
- OurFourPenceWorth
- GirlsJustWannaHaveFunds wrote this week as well for Poverty Action Day!
- MasterYourCard shows us the email floating around about the “We deserve it dividend Bailout“
Roundup for the blogosphere
- Nickel talks about “Escaping your Mortgage due to Bank Failure“, I would not make this your exit plan!
- Mike tells us why “renting is better than buying“, I agree it can definitely be better depending on where you live. In areas where housing is still going up, albeit slowly it’s not the best deal.
- MoneyNing tells us “I saved another $100/month“, nice cancelling cable. But I’m not ready to turn mine off after I lived without for 5 years previously. I lived long enough without it and I like it now.
- Penny gives us the “understanding the financial crisis basics“. Good job, but another problem, not explain is the credit default swap and what happened.
- Shadox talks about “credit in tough times“. I agree it seems like more people are pinching pennies.
- Zignals blog asks us “What sort of crach have we had?“
- And my favorite fashionata blog is FabulouslyBroke and she had Oscar de La Renta up, and I like this new collection a lot! I love the black and white dress.
Have a great weekend. My parents are in town next weekend! I have to cleannnnn!
