A simple thought, should I spend the money and frame this embroidery picture my grandmother made for me? It will likely be at least $40. But it’s a cool picture and one she made and probably the last she’ll ever make because of her arthritis.

Another option not given?
Check around at the dollar stores or goodwill and find a picture in a frame you like (I’ve found dozens of great frames for gifts under $5) and pop the picture out. Take two pieces of cardstock and cut out an opening in one a bit larger than the embroidered image. Sandwich the fabric between the stock, taping it securing so it won’t move around - pop into the frame under the glass.
Lovely gift kept lovely and safe… for under $5 and about 30 minutes of effort.
(I do this with a lot of embroidery projecs)

I will look around! Thank you. Hopefully I can find something, it’s rather large but it is nice. I like it a lot.
But I’m still debating!

Actually, Amazon has some lovely frames, so does IKEA. I bet you could do better than $40.

Dogatemyfinances got to it before I could:
Dude…IKEA!
I like to get the plain black frames, or get the wood frames and take some acrylic paint and paint them whatever colour I please. Don’t spend 40 bucks on a frame, you can certainly find something for much less.
It;s beautiful by the way! Grandma’s got skillz!
