We do buy bulk meat, cook it all at once and freeze the leftovers. It would never be worth my time, energy and money to grow my own vegetables. I haven't seen the price of the produce I buy go up that much anyway. It's bread, dairy, and processed foods that I've seen go way up. I, too, am just shopping for two.
